Chapter 11:7-10
Mar 11, 2026 • Pastor Jim
In Romans 11:7–10, Paul delivers a sobering reality check on the nature of spiritual resistance. He moves from the "remnant" of grace to the "rest" who were hardened, exploring the terrifying irony of religious pursuit without divine revelation.
The passage serves as a "Caution" sign for the modern believer: Our religious heritage and spiritual comforts can become the very things that blind us to a fresh move of God. Paul isn't describing a God who is cruel, but a God who honors the human heart's decision to seek righteousness on its own terms until it reaches a dead end.
